Dreams

Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

Explanation -
Here Hughes write about necessity of dreaming about future here he shows
his optimistic side and also suggest that without dreaming about good
things in future one cannot achieve it.
