The furtive feline
Creeps cautiously with keen eyes,
Craving for the kill.
Agile antelope
Graze upon the green-grown grass
Softly in the sun.
The quick caribou
Linger by the luscious lake,
Drinking by the dawn.
The gallant gazelle
Hastens for the horizon,
Heading for his herd.
The zealous zebra
Frolics freely in the field,
Prancing in the wind.
A flash of fierce gold,
Blurs with black and white.
The predator takes its prey.
